Left is Cleft is an impossible survival game where you have to avoid incoming enemies and survive boss phases to make it as far as you can. Whats the catch? You can only turn left!

- Thanks for playing Left is Cleft! The following information should give you everything you need to enjoy your new game.

Playing The Game
- Left is Cleft has one main game mode called "Survival". To start survival mode, tap the "Play" button from the main menu.
- The objective of the game is to last as long as you can while avoiding enemies and the game boundaries. If you hit anything even once the game will end.
- Sounds easy right? Well... its a bit harder than it seems because you can only turn left. Why? Because left is cleft!
- As the game progresses, new enemies will begin to spawn, player and enemy speed increases, and you will have to survive boss phases.
- Dont worry, as you progress you will unlock weapon abilities to help you survive!

Controls
- Tap
-- Tap anywhere on the screen to turn left.

- Tap + Hold
-- While invincible mode is active, press and hold anywhere on the screen for 2 seconds to pause the game. From the pause menu you can either resume the game or exit to main menu.

- Swift Left
-- Swipe left to fire a beam in front of you, destroying all enemies in your path. You must progress far enough into the game to unlock the beam ability.

- Swipe Right
-- Swipe right to detonate your reflector. Enemies close to you will be destroyed, and enemies slightly further will be sent back in the direction they came. You must progress far enough into the game to unlock the reflect ability.

- Swipe Up
-- Swipe up to perform a dash, instantly boosting you several paces forward. All enemies in your path will be destroyed. You must progress far enough into the game to unlock the dash ability.

- Swipe Down
-- Swipe down to enter tank mode for a short time. This will make you impervious to enemies and boundaries. Be careful, youll be vulnerable as soon as it ends! You must progress far enough into the game to unlock the tank ability.

Boss Rush
- Since Left is Cleft is so hard, it can be frustrating to constantly lose to a new boss just to learn how to beat it. Luckily, we have Boss Rush mode to solve that!
- Boss Rush mode allows you to play through all encountered bosses back to back so you can learn how to beat them before going in to survival mode.

Game Progress
- From the main menu, tap the "Game Progress" button to view your game progress.
- Most of the progress on this page is not updated during Boss Rush mode or when Invincible mode is active.

Settings
- From the main menu, tap the "Settings" button to access the game settings.
- To change settings, click the settings buttons on the left and notice their values updated on the right.
- The "Invincible" button will activate Invincible mode, which will make your character invulnerable to enemies and the boundary during any game mode. This mode is great if youre having a hard time getting through a certain boss and need to practice, or if you just want to take it easy for awhile! Dont forget, your game progress wont get updated while this mode is active.
- To help protect your game progress, the "Reset Progress" button requires two taps to activate. The first press will turn the button red and you will see the message "Are you sure?" appear to the right. Tapping again will confirm this action and reset game progress.
- If you are tired of watching ads to get more lives, you can click "Unlimited Lives" to start an in-app purchase that will grant you unlimited lives forever!
- If you previously purchased unlimited lives but reinstalled the app or installed on a new device, press the "Restore Purchases" button to sync the app with the App Store and get your unlimited lives back. Make sure you are connected to the internet and signed in to the same iCloud account that the purchase was made from.
